    Hani Seoul

    03173 3-1, 2nd Floor, Saemunan-ro 5ga-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul

"A detailed Hanwoo feast encountered in Gwanghwamun, Hani Seoul" Chef Jang Hani, who appeared on the Black and White Chef show, has opened a Hanwoo specialty restaurant, Hani Seoul, behind the Sejong Center in Gwanghwamun. The method of aging meat using nuruk to enhance umami is impressive, and customers can observe the aging process directly inside the restaurant, which raises expectations. The meal starts with eye-catching side dishes. The homemade kimchi and pickles were delightful, and the combination of sea urchin, sweet shrimp, and seaweed was memorable. The yukhoe (raw beef) was enhanced with anchovy sauce and shiitake mushrooms, and a variety of Hanwoo cuts such as tenderloin, tongue, sirloin, and brisket can be enjoyed. In particular, the tenderloin marinated with herbal honey and the combination with rice was satisfying. The quality of the soy sauce marinated crab, seafood doenjang (soybean paste), and seasoned greens soup was high, making the entire dining experience feel solid, not just the Hanwoo.
