Restaurant List
Mer de Cour Gijang Branch
46078 871-1 Gijanghaean-ro, Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan"A large ocean-view café where the night sea vibe comes alive, Mer de Cour Gijang Branch" Mer de Cour Gijang Branch is a spacious café in Gijang with ample parking and convenient layout. The A and B buildings are connected on the upper floors, making it easy to move around despite the large space, and there were various seating options that made choosing a spot enjoyable. With four Blue Ribbons awarded, my expectations were high, and the menu was well-organized, making ordering easy. The open layout facing the sea created a great ocean-view café atmosphere, and at night, even though the sea wasn't clearly visible, the sound of the waves subtly brought the night sea vibe to life. We ordered an Americano, sweet potato latte, and tiramisu. The sweet potato latte was cozy and sweet, while the Americano had a rich flavor. The tiramisu was moist and creamy, pairing well with the coffee. I heard that there are more bakery options available during the day, so I would love to visit again on a sunny day.
Montbell Shelter Jeonpo Cafe Street
47306 18, Dongseong-ro 15beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan, South Korea, 1st and 2nd Floor"A great place to enjoy brunch and bakery items at Montbell Shelter Jeonpo Cafe Street." The exotic exterior immediately catches the eye, making it a nice spot to stop by while passing through. Once inside, a comfortable atmosphere with white and wood tones continues, and there’s a small terrace that’s perfect for a light stay on a nice day. The store displays a variety of bakery items and cakes, and the sight of the baking room where things seem to be made fresh adds to the excitement. The croissants and pastries look especially appetizing, and the fun of choosing your favorite bread to place on a tray adds to the experience. The second floor has spacious seating arrangements, allowing for a relatively relaxed time, and there’s a self-service bar for water and utensils as well as a dish return area. While there’s no dedicated parking, nearby parking lots are available, making it a convenient place to visit when craving brunch or pastries in Jeonpo Cafe Street.
Thrill on the Mug
49126 55 Haeyang Healing-ro, Yeongdo-gu, Busan"A seaside café with a view of the ocean and zipline, Thrill on the Mug" Located within the Yeongdo Ocean Flying Theme Park in Busan, this café offers a stunning view of the sea as soon as you step inside, despite appearing like a zipline facility from the outside. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the ocean and sky, and you can even see the distant Oryukdo, making it a worthwhile spot just for the scenery. On weekend afternoons, it can be quite busy, making it difficult to find a seat, and parking space is limited, so an early visit is recommended. Each floor has a designated flow, making it easier to find a seat first and then enjoy the café, and the outdoor terrace atmosphere is also appealing. The menu is diverse, featuring coffee, beverages, bakery items, and wine, with standout signature drinks like Hibiscus Lemon Tea, Mojito Limeade, and Orange Cream Latte. It's a perfect place for those looking to relax by the sea and enjoy a charming oceanview café atmosphere.

They use beans that are roasted in-house, and the atmosphere reflects their dedication to quality coffee through hand-picking. Inside the café, you can see coffee, desserts, and bakery items all at once, and it's impressive that they sell out of freshly made bread on the same day. The elevator makes it easy to move around, and from the third floor, you can enjoy views of the Namhang Bridge and the sea, making it particularly attractive during sunset. It's also notable that pets are welcome. You can utilize the terrace on the first floor, the third floor, and the rooftop, with spacious and well-maintained areas that are perfect for dates, family gatherings, or stopping by after a walk.
